WHO ARE WE?

We are a couple in life and at work. A few years ago, we decided to join forces and bring our shared sensitivity to the wedding world as Camera Folks. We work flexibly: you’ll most often meet us as a photo & film duo, but we also work strictly as two photographers or two filmmakers – depending on how you want us to tell your story.

OUR EXPERIENCE

We are both graduates of the Lodz Film School (PWSFTviT), so you can be at ease about our craft. Five years of studies shaped our sensitivity, which we later shared at exhibitions in Beijing, Berlin, and Copenhagen. In Poland, our work has been shown at the National Museum in Krakow and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, among others.

We combine this artistic background with commercial experience. For years, Kasia photographed fashion (including for brands like Reserved), while Kostek realized food & lifestyle projects, working for Eastend, among others. Today, we merge these worlds in Camera Folks to tell your story in an original way.

WHY US?

Because we understand each other without words, which is key during the many moments of a wedding day. This means we never get in each other’s way. We can move like your shadows, while never crossing that unspoken line that could disturb your comfort. You won’t even notice us in your frames – as a duo, we play for the same team without interfering with each other’s work. We care about our presence being natural, allowing you to simply be yourselves.

A FEW FACTS ABOUT US

Since the end of 2021, we’ve been parents to the most wonderful boy in the world.

Since Kasia is a dog lover and Kostek is a cat person, we settled on “cat-dogs” – Devon Rex cats. We named them after extraordinary women: the great American photographer Sally Mann and the First Lady of Jazz, Ella Fitzgerald.

Ceramics is our shared escape. Kasia constantly crafts XXL mugs for morning cappuccinos and dreams of her own tableware in earth tones. Kostek is a board game master – he’s created ceramic chess pieces, elements for the game Azul, and even tiny train cars for Ticket to Ride. His ceramic Christmas tree ornaments are already becoming legendary.

We love travel, good coffee, and Asian cuisine.

We are open-minded and love diversity. In our work and life, we are guided by respect for every human being. Peace, Love, Respect.

WHAT INSPIRES US?

Cinema – we can stop a movie or a series just to analyze the light, camera movement, and composition.
People – it might sound like a cliché, but it’s the honest truth. We wouldn’t be able to tell your story without your openness and energy.
Beautiful things – we consider ourselves aesthetes. We appreciate atmospheric wedding venues, bold flower colors, and unconventional wedding themes that break away from tradition. Everything that makes this day “more yours.”
